"Kids Day America/International™"

On Saturday, May 19, 2007, communities worldwide will participate in the Thirteenth annual “Kids Day America/International™”, a health, safety and environmental awareness day for children. This non-profit event will be held locally at Bananas Fun Park, 2469 River Rd., Grand Junction, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. and is hosted by New Life Chiropractic.

* In 2006 Five community members were awarded the Children's Empowerment Award in recognition of their contributions to children's lives in the Grand Valley.

* over 200 people enjoyed Kids Day

* over 100 DNA kits were distributed

* over 100 children received spinal and posture screenings

* 92 free child ID cards were given away.

* Donation to the D.A.R.E. program
